Overview

Ambica Cryogenic specializes in Vacuum Insulated Cryogenic Thermosiphon Tanks, which are double-walled storage tanks designed specifically for efficient cryogenic pumping of LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas). These tanks feature a unique design that eliminates the need for venting boil-off gas during pump priming and completely eliminates flash losses. The priming process is achieved without cavitation, ensuring optimal pump performance. The boil-off gas generated during pump priming is re-condensed inside the tank under the head pressure of the cryogenic liquids.

Our standard range of Cryogenic LNG Thermosiphon Tanks is available in capacities ranging from 7,000 to 256,000 liters, with an operating pressure range of up to 13 Bar(g).

The inner vessel of our tanks is made of stainless steel, ensuring durability and corrosion resistance. Additionally, strategic points on the outer vessel, such as lifting lugs, transport legs, and nozzle openings, are reinforced with stainless steel to enhance the tank’s overall lifespan.

For LNG Mother stations, we offer LNG storage tanks equipped with a standard LNG re-gas facility and Thermosiphon pots with connections for High-Pressure (HP) pumps. This configuration allows for a comprehensive and efficient LNG storage and pumping system.
